I’ll just get the elephant out of the room straight away…although this stone is called ‘Black Amazonite’, it’s clearly blue!
It gets its name by having the most beautiful dark and stormy features in each individual stone, and although you can see the characteristic ‘ripples’ found within all amazonites, this one is completely different to any I’ve seen before…and it is divine!! (I’m utterly in love!)
There is something quite celestial and captivating about it….even more beautiful in real life!
